THIS SATURDAY – 12 October is Market Day at Kangara Waters Retirement Village, 2 Joy Cummings Place, Belconnen (off Aikman Drive – next to John Knight Memorial Park).
From 8.30am to 12.30pm you will have the opportunity to rummage through the many bargains on the White Elephant stall, add to your special collectibles from the Treasures stall, and choose some delicious treats from our good old fashioned Cake stall and home made jams and pickles. There will be special Treasures for children, lots of Books to purchase and a huge selection of Jewellery to choose from. If you are a collector of CDs and DVDs we have plenty of those, and lots of Linen as well. If you are looking for gifts – then what could be better than interesting Handmade craft items, and Homemade Christmas cards and Santa Sleighs. The Plant stall will have lots of pots and plants. And to top it all off there will be an AFP police vehicle for children to explore, officers in attendance to chat with give-aways, as well as a visit from Constable Kenny Koala from 9am to 11am.
