There are a number of ways you can promote your event for free. The first is to add details to our Community Noticeboard. This is a free service we offer to community organisations. You can add events by going to our Community Noticeboard. Our presenters use the information on our Noticeboard to talk about what’s happening in our local community. You can put event details on our Noticeboard as soon as you start planning your event – we can update them if needed.
You can also organise an interview with our team to talk about the event on air. To book an interview, please complete the form here: Book Interview, this will give us all the information we need to organise the interview. It is best to contact us a few weeks before the event to make sure we can book in the best time to promote your event.
You can also promote your organisation or events through regular on-air announcements as a station sponsor. Sponsorship is similar to advertising on commercial radio, except as a community broadcaster we are required to acknowledge the financial support of our sponsors.
Our sponsors find sponsorship to be a cost-effective way of promoting their goods and services to our loyal and growing audience. Churches and other organisations find sponsorship helps them promote their activities and events through regular on-air announcements.
