We want to encourage you to firstly not overthink asking someone the question, "are you ok?". Sometimes we can hesitate to ask someone, who we know are struggling, how they are because we don't think we have the perfect follow up questions to ask or can give them exactly what they need to support them.
The good news is you don't need to have the perfect answers! Most of the time people just need someone to talk to and you simply can be there to give them time and listen. Be honest with them if you don't have the right words but assure them that you're there for them as they navigate the journey they're going through.
