This week we feature the life of Jim Elliot. Jim was one of five missionaries who was killed in an attempt to evangelise the Huaorani people of Ecuador. As a child, his parents encouraged him to be adventurous and live for Christ. He believed that work dedicated to Jesus was more important than his life: “he is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose”.
