Canberra-based Christian singer-songwriter Rebecca Willis is continuing to share her faith through music with the release of her latest single, Ready to Move, out 13 March 2026.
Rebecca, who now calls Canberra home, originally moved to Australia from Raleigh, North Carolina, as a university exchange student at age 19. During that journey she read a passage from Psalm 139 about God guiding us even “on the far side of the sea” – words that would later feel deeply prophetic as she met her husband in Australia and eventually settled in Canberra.
Today, Rebecca balances her music ministry with her role at the University of Canberra, where she has been advising international exchange students since 2010. She is also actively involved in Mosaic Baptist Church, where she has been attending and leading worship since 2012.
Her debut single, Search Me, released in October 2024, was inspired by Psalm 139 and her personal story of God’s guidance. Her newest release, Ready to Move, reflects on patiently waiting on the Lord and being ready to step forward in faith when the time is right.
Through her music, Rebecca hopes to encourage listeners to trust God’s leading and remember that He is faithfully guiding every step of the journey.
