To our 1WAY FM listeners and the broader community.

We have all been shaken by the terrorist attack on the Jewish community in Sydney last Sunday.

At 1WAY FM our mission is to share the hope found in Jesus. At times like this it can be hard to make sense of the evil that is in our world. And it is impossible to know the right words to say. There are so many emotions that you may be feeling, and it is important to seek help when you need it. Either from your local church or from Lifeline who you can call on 13 11 14.

As a Christian radio station we stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters. We stand against the evil we all too often see in this world and yet we do not lose sight of the hope that we find in Christ Jesus.

Please pray with us that God’s love and mercy would find a way through even such a darkness as this.

And please go to church and pray. Please pray at home and pray as Paul says without ceasing. And we are praying for you too.

Again, if you need help contact your local church or call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

May God bless you all as we grieve and may God bless our Jewish communities as they come to terms with this horror.
