DJ Of the Year Challenge
1WAY FM presenters, Mick and Tam, have been married for over 20 years and don’t often disagree on matters of importance… EXCEPT for when it comes to who is the better DJ!
So, from 12pm on the 1st of Jan 2024, Tam and Mick will go head-to-head to see who will hold the title of ultimate DJ for the whole of the year, but we need YOUR help to vote for your favour song each round.
Every hour Mick and Tam will compete with each selecting 3 songs in each category.

Four Categories – three songs/category:
Arms Up, Eyes Closed and Singing to The Lord – The Best of Worship
The Youth Love It
Southern Baptist
Simply The Best
Each song needs to be judged through a criteria of:
Theological Correctness – Needs to be Biblically aligned
Social Relevance – Songs are expected to be post ‘Shout to The Lord era’
Radio Relevance – Listener enjoyment – No 10min instrumentals here!
Each round will be judged through a combination of listener choice (50%) and through our panel of experts (50%).
