The ACT Motor Riders Assn is conducting its annual Toy Run on Saturday 10th December. The Toy Run is run in support of the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal.
Some 700 – 900 Motorcyclists from around the ACT and surrounding districts come together on this day in the hope that they can provide some joy to our local community who are doing it tough over Christmas. Without them, these people may not get the chance to share in the joy of Christmas.
I am leading the Australian Defence Force contingent in support of this great community activity but I am happy to field questions from the general community regarding how to participate or to make donations.
We seek donations of new toys, non-perishable foodstuff and/or cash.
