Susan Joy Nevile  was an ordained deacon (Anglican Church, Canberra / Goulburn) and wrote from her 20 years’ experience as a hospice/hospital pastoral carer, school chaplain, and children’s and family minister.

The book presents 86 story-oriented reflections, each focussing on a specific aspect of faith life, and each accompanied by a prayer written from the reflection. Stories are drawn from the Bible and a diverse range of other sources (e.g. life, literature, even movies).

After Susan Joy passed away I found her writings (written notes, loose sheets, digital files) and over two years I compiled and edited them and then pursued publication. I am a published academic and also an academic editor. You can see details of the book at the publisher’s site, or at the website I created for her at susanjoynevile.net

Adjunct Professor Maurice Nevile.
