Remembering Timothy Keller

Written by Kiara Thomas

On Friday the 19th, faith became sight for Timothy James Keller, a renowned American pastor, theologian and Christian apologist.

“All death can now do to Christians is to make their lives infinitely better.” – Tim Keller.

We rejoice that Tim is now with our Lord Jesus Christ and rely on Jesus in prayer and devotion as we grieve.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:4 NIV

Keller wrote over 30 books, including several New York Times bestsellers that have helped many Christians grow in their faith.

Some of Keller’s books include:

Timothy Keller married Kathy Kristy in 1975, and together they had three children, Michael, Jonathan and David.

Tim Keller was the founding minister at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, NYC.

He also co-founded The Gospel Coalition (TGC) with Don Carson. TGC “seeks to help people know God’s Word with their minds, love God fully with their hearts, and engage the world with grace and truth.”

The team at 1WAY FM would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Kathy, Michael, Jonathan, David, and the entire Keller family. We are praying for you.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

Timothy James Keller.
