
AN EVENT IN HONOUR OF THE PERSECUTED CHURCH
Featuring:
-An audio visual presentation of “Perpetua”, an oratorio composed by Canberra composer Michael Dooley (CityNews Canberra Artist of the year 2019) and performed by some of Canberra’s leading singers and classical musicians. Based on the writings of 3rd century Christian martyr Perpetua, who gave her life for her beliefs in Carthage in 203 AD. “An eloquent tribute to a courageous woman and martyr for the faith.” This marks the release of a brand new professionally recorded CD of the Work.
-A short introduction by the composer.
-A presentation by Pastor Raymond Wadely, Chaplain of Voice of the Martyrs Australia, about the plight of the persecuted church in our present time.

FREE ENTRY. CDs of the Oratorio will be available for sale, all proceeds will go to help persecuted Christians.
