This is a 6 week full time TESOL course (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) conducted by Youth With a Mission in Canberra and accredited with YWAM’s international University of the Nations. For Australian government accreditation, a clear pathway (via RPL) is provided for a Cert IV in TESOL – no extra coursework or lecture attendance.
The course includes a built in practicum with real students in Canberra – a mini outreach in itself. Learn the basic foundations of teaching speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation. Discover how to design a program, a syllabus and a lesson. Be trained to assess learners’ English ability as well as their needs and goals.
