Imagine Day is our one day a year when we get to say “imagine if ” we could be the solution to a few problems. It’s the day where our response to injustice is to shout “enough is enough”. It’s the day when we get to dig deep and give sacrificially.
It’s the one day when we see the size of our faith compare to the size of the hope that people have; people that are in dire situations or desperation. People we may never meet. People who are equally loved by our God. People who we believe our God expects us to have evident compassion for. People who we should have the heart of God for.
Each year we determine which ministries or entities we believe God would have us partner with. This year we hope to support Christians Against Poverty (capaust.org), GlobalCare (globalcare.com.au), and Christ For India (christforindia.in).
This year we are openly inviting other people to join with us and make a difference. No matter which local church you attend, or even if you don’t attend a church, you are welcome to attend and give. After our service, we will be having a free luncheon and celebration (party time) ongoing until our Worship Service at 5.30pm. All are welcome.
