Please join us for an evening of fundraising for one of Canberra and Queanbeyan’s most beloved not-for-profit community organisations HOME in Queanbeyan.
This year’s annual fundraiser includes the screening of a fantastic film, Made in Dagenham a silent auction, food & drinks.

A delightfully entertaining movie with a superb cast based on the world-changing 1968 strike at the Ford Dagenham car plant. In the sixties, despite performing specialised tasks, female Ford employees were classified as unskilled labour and paid just a fraction of their male colleague’s wages… simply because they were women.
Outraged by the situation, plant worker Rita O’Grady leads her colleagues on strike for equal pay for equal work… an act that would ultimately help advance the cause of women’s rights around the world.
