The Good Friday Festival has been a yearly event in Lanyon for more than a decade – a free celebration of God’s good gifts to us!
Members of the Lanyon Valley Anglican Church (LVAC), Kris and Alan Lew of Canberra, are undertaking the daunting task of cycling from Perth to Newcastle – a 4200km journey – to raise sponsorship and funds for Compassion Australia

They are holding a fundraisng booth at the Good Friday Festival in Gordon Playground to raise awareness and funds toward the $20 000 fundraising goal set by compassion for their riders. This money will assist kids in poverty and at-risk kids with special needs or vulnerable to exploitation. To sponsor a child or donate, please see their fundraising page
