As Christians we know that Jesus’ return is soon approaching. Scriptures clearly teach the immanency of Christ’s return however the church seems to be blinded by this truth. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 is indeed being fulfilled; men are lovers of self and are focused on the temporal things of this world not on the return of Jesus.
Jesus said that no man knows the hour or the day of His return (Mat 25:13). His return could be at any moment. In light of this truth, how then shall we live? How do we live knowing this day could be our last? And in the inverse how do we live if the Lord continues to tarry.
