You are invited to the Combined Canberra Churches Good FridayPrayer Vigil.
As customary from previous years, the Prayer Vigil has been held on Mount Ainslie starting from 6 pm Friday evening through to 6 am Saturday morning.
Last year, we held the Prayer Vigil via Zoom online (due to Covid-19), which turn out a great success with many of you being involved.
Likewise this year, we will again be meeting on the Good Friday ‘Dusk till Dawn’ Prayer Vigil online via zoom. How it works; we propose 12 groups/churches/families/couples, to take a 1-hour time slot (from 6 pm – 6 am) in their home or at their church. We have all, no doubt, acquired the art of zooming now, so link up within your church group or cover the 1 hour on your own as a couple/family group.
(This is a great time to meet as we reflect on this special time, we give thanks to God for His goodness and faithfulness over us. Also for the times we are in, there is great importance to prayer, as we come together in unity to pray for the many needs and issues of our nation. Praise and worship can also be incorporated into this time.)
