Come and join the South Woden Uniting Church and The Gospel Folk for community singing of Christmas carols. This free event is now in its 12th year. Rev Gary Holdsworth will welcome us all, Clinton White will direct the choir with composer Michael Dooley (ACT Artist of the year) on keyboard and orchestra leader Ian McLean on drums.
Former ABC radio sports reporter, Tim Gavel, will host the event with special guests, tenor Drew Ashley, Euphonics (a capella vocal group) and Nova Voices and Borealis Voices (both groups from the Woden Valley Youth Choir).
Refreshments will be on sale from local businesses.
Bring your own chairs, rugs, picnic etc.
In the case of wet weather the event will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Pearce. Donations will be taken for the Christmas Bowl Appeal.
