Tuggeranong Town Park
Community activities are an important ingredient in “building community”. The Salvation Army’s Carols in Town Park – Tuggeranong has developed into a large and great event to Celebrate Christmas.
Carols in Town Park celebrates the Christmas Story and the Tuggeranong Community with in excess of 3,500 people in attendance at the 2015 event.
This year, Carols in Town Park is on Sunday 18th December, and again our main sponsor is The Vikings Group.
As in previous years, there’s lots to do for the kids. Jumping castles and slides, petting zoo, reptile display and pony rides and a special visit from Santa.
Food and drinks will be on sale at family friendly prices.
The Kids Activities commence at 5pm, with the Carols service commencing at 6.30pm.
Once again, our Carols celebration will include The National Capital Salvation Army Band & Timbrels, Community Choir; local artists, Katie de Veau and Amber Nichols (The Voice), and this year we welcome for the first time Ventriloquist Natalie May.
Carols in Town Park is a family friendly event and we would love for the Canberra Community to come and join the Salvos in celebrating Christmas!
