We are hosting an Op Shop Fashion Parade and High Tea on Saturday, 28 September from 2pm to 5pm at St John’s Hall, Reid, to raise valuable funds for emergency relief services provided by Anglicare and our partners, St John’s Care and the Gordon Community Service. These services aim to bridge the gap and break the cycle of disadvantage, isolation and economic hardship for vulnerable individuals and families in Canberra. They do this with compassion, advocacy, respect and encouragement and through the provision of emergency relief and other programs.
Marking the start of National Op Shop Week, the fashion parade will feature recycled clothing modelled by clients and staff from a range of our programs. As you watch the fashion parade you’ll enjoy a scrumptious high tea with a complimentary glass of bubbles. You might also like to check out our pop-up Op Shop – who knows, you might bag yourself a bargain!
