Aussie legend and Australia’s No. 1 children’s Christian artist, Colin Buchanan, chats with 1WAY FM’s PJ about faith, his music and how listeners can be a part of his latest music video.
The seven-time Golden Guitar awards winner has teamed up with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) Australia and has written a new song celebrating the Dad’s that serve with MAF.
On Father’s Day – each year – hundreds of churches come together to raise money for jerrycans of fuel to enable life-saving MAF flights. This year Colin has written a song to help. He can’t travel to shoot a video so he’s appealing to Australians everywhere to help him shoot one!
Listeners are encouraged to share a video of themselves singing and dancing along to the song, ‘MAF MAN’. The videos will all be compiled to create one super video! The videos can be uploaded to the MAF website at https://maf.org.au/mafman/. Entries close on 15th July 2021.
For over 75 years, MAF has been serving isolated people by using aircraft to bring in the essentials of life as well as medical care, emergency food, and Christian hope.
These flights enable crucial work by many aid and development agencies, missions, local churches and other national groups.
MAF serves the Church and communities in remote areas where flying is not a luxury, but a lifeline.
