The following volunteer positions are available at 1WAY FM:
Volunteers are an incredibly important asset to 1WAY FM, and integral to our ongoing daily operations. Without our team, of which over 95% are made up of our volunteers who passionately believe in the ministry of the station, we simply wouldn't be on air.
Think you might be interested in being a part of the team? Volunteer work is currently required in the following areas:
- Receptionist
- Sales & marketing
- Administration/office work
- Fundraising
- Promotions
- Event management
- Prayer
- Website & IT work
- Audio production
- Voice overs
- Church and ministry partnerships
- Research & development
- Technical work (audio, studio, and transmitter)
- Producing & researching
- On-air announcing (Broadcast Training will be run in 2010 for those interested in announcing)
- Finance
- Computer programming
- Human resources
We are also in need of volunteers to join the following committees:
- Music Committee
- Programming Committee
