You’re ‘behind the scenes’ jobs at 1WAY FM?

I started part time as Administration Manager, moved to full time with additional duties and am currently acting Station Manager (so that covers just about anything that needs doing, including the dishes!)

Favourite Food?

Seafood! Very closely followed by my mother’s cooking (something I only get to enjoy rarely these days)!

3 Things always on your shopping list?

Crackers, banana’s, cheese and probably carrots too.

What colour crayon would you be?

Definitely Aqua! Like the ocean in a gorgeous tropical paradise! J

Favourite music artist/ song?

I’m still a girl who dances around my house some mornings to Francesca Batiselli – doesn’t really matter what the song! Though my most recent favourite is an old, but brilliant track – Two sets of Jones’ by Big Tent Revival!

Best part of your day?

When I finish a large task/ achieve something that didn’t seem possible! I love that feeling! J

Summer or Winter?

In Canberra, neither really! Spring and Autumn have far more pleasant weather!

Favourite way to unwind?

Having a massage or playing music with my hubby!

Favourite word or phrase?

Funniest thing someone has asked you?

I moved to Australia from South Africa when I was 13, and my first week of school in Sydney I was asked “how come you speak English so well? And did you have electricity?” J

What do you love most about 1WAY FM?

I love the amazing privilege it is to serve God by sharing the bible’s message of truth and life with the Canberra region! When the daily grind gets me down, I LOVE to remember that 1WAY FM belongs to God and God’s plans for 1WAY FM WILL come to fruition in His timing! J
