The British House of Peers falls foul of the Queen of the Fairies after upsetting one of her proteges. Sending him into parliament, she gives him the power to influence both houses to vote for any bill he chooses. Add several thwarted romances, one of Gilbert's ingenious plots and some of Sullivan's most beautiful and haunting music and this show is definitely one to sit back and enjoy.
